Kelly Flats Jeepin' Trip

Allison, Shawn and I ran Kelly Flats on Saturday. Kelly Flats is up Poudre Canyon (Colorado) about 25 miles. It only has two named obstacles, Heart Attack Hill and The Chutes, but they were both fun. When we got to the Chutes I was actually thinking about bypassing it, but a group of people showed up so I had an audience! We made it through with just some new scratches in the fender flare on the driver's front. At one point the Jeep leaned into the rock wall, but fortunately my driver's slider was hit first!

After the Chutes we stopped for a quick picnic then started moving again. There were some fun mud holes (I hate mud, but these were fun) that dang near came in the jeep.

After wards we headed to Poncho's and had a great lunch!
